Barbara Boger

Barbara Elaine Boger, 71, passed away at her home, with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born June 6, 1949 in Alton, she was the daughter of Cletus Walter and Katherine Elaine (Meyer) Budde.
Barbara married her high school sweetheart, Dennis Boger on June 13, 1970. He survives.
A 1967 graduate of East Alton-Wood River High School, Barb worked as a cashier for Kroger and Siebold's. Her favorite job was being the caretaker of her grandchildren, whom she loved very much. She also enjoyed gardening and attending car shows.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jennifer (David) Murray of Wood River and David (Pam) Boger of Moro; her grandchildren Ashton and Taylor Murray and Danica and Layla Boger; sisters Pat Droit (Steven Helfrich) of Wood River and Mary Budde (Phil Flanigan) of Hartford; brothers, Jim (Kathy) Budde of Alton, Rob (Sue) Budde of Godfrey, Paul (Vicki) Budde of Wood River, and Chris (Lisa) Budde of Livingston, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
No services are scheduled at this time.
