Arthur Lee Hayes III, of Alton passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at OSF Saint Anthony’s Health Center in Alton.

Arthur Lee Hayes III, of Alton passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at OSF Saint Anthony’s Health Center in Alton.
Born July 24, 1957 he was the son of Arthur Lee Hayes Jr and Dolores Denise Shea.
Arthur was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball and St. Louis Blues fan and enjoyed watching football on Sunday. He always looked forward to fishing with his friend, Tom and cherished moments with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Renee Hayes; three sons, Eric Hayes of Alton, Matthew (Cheyenne) Hayes of Godfrey and Geoffrey (Madelyn Dunakey) Hayes of Alton; six grandchildren, Anaken, Morrison, Rosalyn, Dakoda, River and Raine; a sister, Ellen Saville of St. Louis and a brother, Donald Hayes of Edwardsville.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Steven Hayes and Andrew Hayes and a sister, Linda Hayes.
Visitation will be 10 AM until time of service, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey. Reverend George Humbert will officiate.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield, IL.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
