Alice Margaret Green, age 91, passed away at 8:25 a.m. on Monday September 12, 2011, at Bickford Cottage Assisted Living in Macomb, IL.
She was born on August 15, 1920 in Elwood, IL the daughter of Arthur F. and Hazel B. (Eib) Bush.
Alice was employed as a stenographer by Illinois Bell Telephone Company, Joliet, IL, as a secretary in the Rock Island, IL Public School System, and by Alton Memorial Hospital as the Personnel Director for 19 years and retired in January of 1985.
She married David H. Green on January 27, 1944 in Clearwater, Florida.
She is survived by her two sons, Jerrold D. Green of Pittsburgh, PA and Ronald G. Green of Macomb, IL; four grandchildren, Laura D. Kuterbach, Kenneth C. Green, Rebecca D. G. Wassell and Megan M. Pressnall.
Her parents, husband, and her brother Grant A. Bush preceded Alice in death.
Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
