Tracie Cummings

JERSEYVILLE-  Tracie Lynn Cummings, 53, died at 11:28 a.m., Saturday, September 27, 2014 in the emergency room at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville.She was born in Jerseyville on September 24, 1961, one of seven children born to the late Frank & Lila (Devening) Cummings.Tracie grew up in Kane, and was a member of the Kane United Methodist Church. She loved life, her family and her church family.She attended Jerseyville schools, and had worked at McDonalds in Jerseyville, where she met many of her friends and  eagerly greeted her customers with a smile and a friendly word.She is survived by Barbara & Tom Yarrell of Cedar Park, Texas, Beverly & Michael Fessler of Dow, Betty & Denny Fenton of Alton, David & Judy Cummings of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dan & Lynn Cummings of Lewisville, Texas, Mark Cummings of Cheyenne, Wy., Tim Taviner, Tony Yarrell, Chris, Cindy, Kyle and Jon Fessler, Anna Cummings, Phillip & Drew Cummings, Alex, Mallory, Megan and Maks Cummings; along with many great nieces and nephews and cousins.  She is also survived by two aunts, Mary Aderton of Hardin and Dorothy Cummings of Champaign.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Alan Cummings on May 31, 2011.Visitation will be from 1 p.m., Wednesday until time of funeral services at 3 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Jerseyville, with Rev. Mark Myers officiating.Per her wishes, she will be laid to rest alongside her parents at the Kane Cemetery.Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church in Jerseyville.Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville is in charge of the arrangements.
