HARDIN-  Dolores Jeanette Ufer, 82, died at 9:04 a.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Grafton, IL.She was born in Calhoun County on Jan. 27, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Norman & Stella (Taviner) Reddish.She had worked at the Ringhausen Apple Shed in East Hardin, and had waitressed at various area restaurants, however her most important job in life was her family.She married Arnold Willis Ufer on Sept. 29, 1955 in Jersey County, and they shared 38 years together before his death in 1993.Surviving are two children, Leesa Perdun, and her companion, Todd Lahr of Grafton, and Shannon Ufer of Hardin; two granddaughters, Kyla Ufer and her fiance' Travis Sievers of Hardin and Skylar Ufer of Kampsville; and a great granddaughter, Raelynn Isabel Sievers.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Neal K. Ufer on Dec. 4, 2013; a grandson, Shane Perdun; and brother, Clyde Reddish who was killed in World War II.She was cremated according to her wishes.A memorial visitation will be held from 4 p.m., Friday until time of memorial services at 7 p.m., at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.  Rev. Paul Frazier will officiate.Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the Hardin City Cemetery.Memorials may be given to the activity department at the Calhoun Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hardin.
