Carol A. Eberlin 73 passed away at 3:58 pm at St. Anthony’s Health Center in Alton with her family by her side.
She was born on May 20, 1940 in Wood River, IL, the daughter of the late Edmund and Dorothy (Behnen) Eberlin.
Carol was employed at Challenge Unlimited for over 30 years, and enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics and showing her medals.
She is survived by one sister and her spouse; Mary and Vern Kidwell of Alton, and one brother and his spouse; Tom and Sharon Eberlin of Alton, and will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters; Lois Keller and Janet Miller and one infant brother.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am till time of mass at 10:30 am, Friday October 25, 2013 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey. Fr. Steve Pohlman will be the celebrant
Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or Special Olympic.
