Johnnie Jordan

Johnnie Michael Jordan age 59 departed this life on Wednesday October 16, 2013. He was a Merrillville resident for 18 years, formerly of Alton.  He was a 1972 graduate of Alton Senior High School.  Johnnie was employed with BP Amoco in Whiting, Indiana for 34 years and he was a former member of the Trinity AME Church.  In addition to his wife, Marva D. Holloway of Merrillville and his mother Shirley Glasco of St. Louis, he is survived by his children Johnnie M. Jordan Jr., Joseph M. Jordan and Audra D. Bean; four grandchildren, Treville, D'Marco, Aubrella and Johnnie M. Jordan III "Tre", his sister Sharon Jordan of St. Louis.He was preceded in death by his brother Terry L. Jordan; and grandparents, Herschel and Hazel Gowens and Johnnie and Margarite Jordan.Visitation Friday October 25, 2013 from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Cathy M.
