Sharon “Sherrie” E. Hahn, 63, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born May 15, 1950 in Wood River, she was a daughter of Frank and Bernice (Greer) Sweet.
Sherrie retired after working as a registered nurse for many years.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Garry Korte of Brighton; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Susan Gallacci of Rosewood Heights; 2 grandchildren, Gavin Hahn and Cameron Korte; a sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Paul Amizich of Wood River; 2 nieces, Amy Amizich of Springfield and Candice Holland of Rosewood Heights; and a dear friend, Lisa Jay of Wood River.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Burial will follow at Shipman Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Anthony’s Health Center Nursing Dept. in Alton.
