Glenn Vernon Eudy Jr., 57, of Alton, IL, died at 4:36 p.m. Tues. Sept. 17, 2013 at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, MO.
He was born Jan. 10, 1956 in Alton to the late Glenn Vernon & Loretta (Norton) Eudy Sr.
Glenn was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1974 to 1988. He worked for Olin for 19 years and retired in 2007. He was a member of the Alton Eagles #254. Glenn was also an avid fisherman and loved NASCAR, baseball, gardening, building birdhouses and just being outdoors.
On Jan. 8, 1986, he and Donna S. Burkholder were married in Norfolk, VA. She survives in Alton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline & Robert Koch, 2 grandsons, Robert Joe Koch III & Xander Lee Koch all of Benton, KY, a brother, Rodney & Peggy Eudy of Henderson, NV and mother-in-law, Mildred I. Burkholder of Benton, KY.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
