Uva Marie Tungett, 82, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at University Hospital in Tamarac, Florida.
She was born on August 21, 1930 in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of the late Dennis Osborne and Vena Osborne.
She married William E. Tungett August 28, 1948, and he preceded her in death June 23, 1999.
Uva was a Christian. She was a member of Church By The Glades in Coral Springs, Florida. She retired from Kroger’s Grocery where she worked as a clerk.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Stephen Muscarella of Coral Springs, FL; three grandchildren, Anna (Steffen) Caskill of LaGrange TN, Michael (Kimberly) Muscarella of Lake Worth, Florida, and Marc Muscarella of Delray Beach, Florida; six great-grandchildren, Brianna, Giana, Michael, Madison, Jackson, and Emma. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Irene Bond of Rosewood Heights, IL and Agnes Osborne of California and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and her husband, William E. Tungett.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7pm Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Funeral service will be at 10 am Friday, July 12, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Crippen officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
