Jennifer Sue "Jenny" (Ivers) Rethorn

JERSEYVILLE-  Jennifer Sue "Jenny" (Ivers) Rethorn, 42, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Kane, Illinois.She was born in Jerseyville on March 23, 1971, and was one of three daughters born to William & Rosemary (Blasa) Ivers.She attended Kane Grade School, and graduated in 1988 from Jersey Community High School in Jerseyville.  She later obtained her BS in Psychology from Blackburn College in Carlinville.She currently was employed at Whites Greenhouse and Nursery in Godfrey, and was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Jerseyville.Surviving are her parents, Bill & Rosemary Ivers of Jerseyville; a son, Koty Rethorn; a daughter, Kathrine Rose Rethorn; two sisters & a brother in law, Patricia "Trish" Ivers and Kelly & Jim Little all of Jerseyville.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ward & Elma Ivers and Fred & Lillian Blasa. Visitation for Jennifer & Henry will be conducted from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Combined services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hope Lutheran Church in Jerseyville, with Rev. Robert Heimgartner officiating.She will be laid to rest alongside Henry at the Kane Cemetery.In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials donations to her children can be made in care of the funeral home
