He married Diane (Smith) French in 1979 and together they had a daughter, Amanda Shay Bartlett of Atlanta, Georgia. In 1989 he Married Kem Speich and together they had 2 daughters, Jessica Walls of Alton and Lindsay Bartlett of Jerseyville.
Grandchildren: Layla and Brynlee Walls
Cousins: Doris (Fritz) Egelhoff of Jerseyville and Mary Lou Nelson of Belleville, IL.

Graduated from Jersey Community High School in 1970. Dave worked 34 years for John
Deere Company with 27 years with C & W Equipment & 7 years for Wm. Nobbe & Co.
He enjoyed helping his customers and most of all selling the toys to the children.
MILITARY: U.S. Army Veteran serving his Country for 2 Years
