Mary K. Deitz, passed away at 8:25 pm Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at her residence.
She was born August 18, 1935 in Alton, the daughter of the late Walter & Katherine (McElroy) Winslow.
She married Glen Deitz on January 23, 1974. He passed away on December 31, 1989.
Mary was employed at the Glass Works as a selector for 28 years, retiring in 1983.
She is survived by one sister, Margaret Summers of Alton; two brothers, Edward Winslow of Alton and Virgil Winslow of Moro and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald and Robert Winslow and two sisters, Charlotte Winslow and Barbara Winslow.
A private funeral service will be on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton, with Pastor Charles West officiating.
Burial will follow at Alton City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
