Fusako K. “Ann” Crain, 85, passed away at 9:04 pm Thursday April 28, 2011 at home.
She was born on May 9, 1925 in Nagoya, Japan, the daughter of late Manzo & Yasu Kato.
She married Glennon Crain on October 21, 1954 and he preceded her in death in 2004.
She was very proud of her grandchildren and was an accomplished seamstress, baker, cook and gardener.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara & Mike Wheeler of Godfrey; one son, Michael Crain of Godfrey; and two grandchildren Blake and Grace Wheeler of Godfrey; one brother in Japan; several nieces and nephews; and her pet Mitzi.
In celebration of her life, a memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to the 5A’s.
