Stephen M. Pruitt, age 14, passed away at 9:57 am, Saturday, September 11, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL.
He was born on January 30, 1996 in Alton, IL, to David and Shirley (Merkle) Noe.
Stephen enjoyed watching TV and especially enjoyed watching Men in Black, he also enjoyed being with his special bear, and listening to his music. Stephen was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his parents, three sisters and their spouses; Samantha and Michael Pruitt of Alton, Laura and John Hindert of St. Ann, MO, Ashley Merkle and Dustin Grizzle of Alton, and a brother and his spouse; Terry and Amanda Pruitt of Roxana, three Nieces and three Nephews, an Uncle Jerry Merkle of Alton, and an Aunt and her spouse; Donna and Bill Eickleberry of Rosewood Heights, and a Paternal Grandmother; Norma Noe of Ft. Worth, TX.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents; Leo Lloyd and Ella Mae (Allen) Merkle, and his Paternal Grandfather; Russell Noe.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, on Wednesday September 15, 2010 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL. Funeral service will be at 1 pm, Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton the Pastor Larry Lacher will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Foot Prints Program at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, in St. Louis, MO.
