Ruth G. Wilson, 87, died at 4:07 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Robings Manor in Brighton.
She was born October 5, 1922 in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of Elm Street Presbyterian Church in Alton and was the director of the Crisis Food Center for over 30 years. On December 24, 1946 in Godfrey, she married John L. Wilson. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2004. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and her cats.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to the Crisis Food Center or the 5A’s Animal Shelter.
