Mary Ann Miller, 81, died at 1:35 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at Edwardsville Nursing & Rehab.
Born January 10, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of Clarence and Edith (Poppins) Mossberger. She retired as a cafeteria worker for the Alton School District and was a member of the North Alton Southern Baptist Church. On May 15, 1948 in Alton, she marred Lester P. Miller. He preceded her in death on February 26, 2002.
Surviving is a daughter, Carla S. Ogle of Alton, a son, Larry C. Miller of Alaska, four grandchildren, Kyle Ogle, Jessie, Jason and Amber Miller, a sister, Dorothy Akers of Alton, three sisters-in-law, Mary Thomas and her husband Rick of Bethalto, Lucille Noel of East Alton and Betty Little of Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon Monday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Reverend Sonny Renkin will officiate. Burial will be at Upper Alton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the North Alton Southern Baptist Church.
