Patricia L. Cassidy, 66, passed away at 12:04 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at her home.
Born Sept. 15, 1943 in Monessen, Penn., she was a daughter of Charles and Jean (Rose) Castle.
She worked for several years at Mississippi Lime Co. before becoming a home health aide for St. Anthony’s Home Health Care. Most recently she was a self-employed home health practitioner.
She married Mike Cassidy Nov. 1, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Tina Beumer-Southward of Las Vegas, Debra Beumer-Terry of Brighton, Paula Bedwell of Pevely, Mo., Tara Gremminger and Angela Alltop, both of Herculaneum, Mo., and Michael Shawn Cassidy of Farmington, Mo.; her grandchildren, Rachael and Thomas Terry, Justin Beumer, Amanda and Aaron Bedwell, Derek, Jodi, and Courtney Gremminger, and two on the way; her neices, Julie Belk of Godfrey and Jennifer Qualls of East Alton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sandra Qualls.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 28 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
According to her wishes, cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home or to the American Cancer Society.
