Norma Leona Syddall, age 68, passed away at 11:30 am, Monday May 17, 2010, at her residence.
She was born in South Roxana, IL on February 24, 1942, the daughter of Edward H. and Edna L. (Weaver) Kraut.
Norma married Ronald Syddall, on March 16, 1962 in Wood River, IL. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1991.
She lived in the area all of her life and ran a boarding house taking care of the residents.
She is survived by two daughters and a spouse Denise Graves of South Roxana, Sandra (Michael) Baty, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother and his spouse Marvin and Linda Kraut of South Roxana, three sisters and spouse Virginia R. Dittbenner of Tuscon, AZ, Shirley and Robert Hintzman of Green Bay WI.
She was preceded in death be her parents, husband two sisters Dorothy M. Baker, Ava Swinney and one son Ronald Syddall Jr.
Visitation will be from 10 am till 12 noon Thursday May 20, 2010 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with services at 12 noon with Robert Hintzman officiating and burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL.
