Hilda L. Hewitt, 91 went to be with the Lord at 4:02 a.m. on Monday April 19,2010 Robings Manor in Brighton, IL.
She was born June 26, 1918 the daughter of the late Lee Edmond and Verna (Shaw) Switzer.
She married Dane L. Hewitt on July 25, 1936; he preceded her in death on April 16, 1981.
Two sons and their spouses Robert and Mary Lou Hewitt of Godfrey, Donald and Beverly Hewitt of San Antonio, TX, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren survive her.
Per her wishes there will be no services and burial will be private.
Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
