Juanita Schmidt, 79, passed away at 8:50 am on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas.
She was born on June 27, 1930 in East Alton, IL, the daughter of William J. & Hazel (Rhine) Brooks.
She married Theodore Price at Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto in 1973. He passed away in 2001. She married Lucian L. Schmidt on February 14, 2003 in Harlingen, Texas. He survives.
Juanita worked at Seibolds Bakery for over 10 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto and was involved in the Ladies Aid and the Choir. She was a member of Women’s Connection in Alton. She loved to travel, sew, growing roses and most of all being with her family and friends.
