Peggy L. Walsh Gipson, 55, passed away at 3 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville.
Born Aug. 15, 1954 in Alton, she was the daughter of James M. and Carol O. (Main) Walsh.
She worked as a health care provider for Morning Star Home Health Care.
Survivors include four daughters, Shannon Thompson of Indiana, Courtney Walsh, Hannah Gipson and Olivia Gipson of Fidelity; a grandchild, Kcee Shreve; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Harold Nation of Alton; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, LeRoy and Glenna Walsh of Wisconsin and Robert and Lynn Walsh of Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Carol Jane Walsh; and a brother, Chon Walsh.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights. Rev. Dan Smith will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Olivia and Hannah Gipson.
