Rose Lee Pfenninger, 68, died at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Jerseyville Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Walnut Ridge, Ark on Sept. 15, 1942, one of three daughters born to the Leslie & Vella Maye (Moore) Brand.
For many years Rose lived in St. Louis with her husband, where she waitressed in various restaraunts, and the two moved to Jerseyville after their retirement. She married Harold H. Pfenninger at their home in St. Louis, Mo on March 12, 1977, and he passed away on Oct. 7, 2000.
Surviving are two sisters & brothers in law, Shirley & Paul Manley of Grafton, and Patricia & Bill Ducharme of New Lenox; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Brand, her mother, Vella Reando; and a brother in law, Wayne Kirby.
Visitation wll be from 12 noon on Monday until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Rev. Walter Schutz will officiated. She will be laid to rest in the Noble Cemetery in Otterville.
Memorials may be given to Grace & Faith Ministries in Shipman.
