Doris M. Scibetta, 78, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, went to be with her Lord at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Born May 20, 1931 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of Albert and Florence (Chalfant) Fisher.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Niagara Falls, NY. On May 24, 1952 in Niagara Falls, NY, she married Paul Scibetta. He survives.
Also surviving is a daughter Jo Pauline Hampshire and her husband Jerry of Godfrey, two sons; Dominick Scibetta and his wife Kathie of Center Moriches, NY and Paul Scibetta Jr. of Brantford Ontario, Canada, four grandchildren; Zachary Hampshire and his wife Amber, Ryan Hampshire and his wife Jaime, Dominica Scibetta and Gabriel Scibetta, four great grandchildren; Quentin, Emily, Ethan and Jack.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Albert Fisher Jr.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Pastor Phil Schneider will officiate.
Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
