Cleda Irene Wall, 95, formerly of Bethalto, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2010 at her home.
She was born on August 25, 1914 in Sorento, IL, the daughter of David & Emma (Strohkirch) McGibany.
She married Lloyd Amos Wall on July 15, 1934 in Alton. He passed away in 1992.
She was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto.
She is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Cheryl & Danny Emde of Tuscon, AZ; a son and two daughters-in-law, Norman & Karen Wall of East Alton and Dot Wall of Port Clinton, OH; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; three sisters, Wanda Lynch of Sorento, IL, Sharon Reed of Greenville, IL and Loretta Wall of Sorento, IL; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean & Betty McGibany of Roxana, David Lyne & Arlene McGibany of Alton and Darrel & Mona McGibany of Alton and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral service will be at 12 Noon at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Daniel Decker officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
