Elizabeth Bell Moore, 91, passed away at 7:41 am on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.
She was born on December 2, 1918 in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Roy & Eithel (Pruitt) Zumwalt.
She married William M. Moore on June 14, 1952 in Alton, IL. He passed away on December 31, 1996.
Elizabeth was a photographer for Olin Mills Studio for 30 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Alton Moose Lodge and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1970. She loved animals.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Carol Utt; a sister-in-law, Wilma Jean Zumwalt of Holiday Shores and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, Beulah Ottwell and Thelma Zumwalt and a brother, Arnold Zumwalt.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 pm on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Alta Vaughn officiating.
