David Wade Dallas, age 48, died at 8:10 am, Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. with his family by his side.
He was born on July 31, 1961, in Alton, Il. to Ulysis and Violet (Bell) Dallas.
He served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a roofer in the Alton area.
David is survived by two daughters; Leaha Smith and her spouse Lonnie of Rockford, Il, and Ashley Green of Rosewood Heights, Il. two grandchildren; Lane Smith, and Layla Smith, eight sister; Helen Gray of Alton, Il. Barbara Hoaglin of Alton, Il. Joyce Shewmake of Alton, Il. Sharon bock of Alton, Il. Regina Savage of Alton, Il. Nancy Steele of Alton, Il. Kim Wayne Savage of Alton, Il. and LaDonna Dallas of Alton, Il.
He was preceeded in death by his parens, two sistera; Patricia Inlow and Carlyn Savage, one brother; Leonard E. Savage Jr. and one uncle; Vance Ewing..
Visitation will be from 9 am, Saturday February 13, 2010 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton Il. until time of service at 10 am, with the Rev. Danny Gibson officiating.
Burial will be at the Upper Alton Cemetery, in Alton, Il. .
