Robert J. "Bobby" "Frogg" Kallal Jr., age 64, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 7:56 a.m. at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, MO
He was born in Batchtown, IL, on March 20, 1945, son of Robert "Bob" V. Sr. & Mary E. (Weishaupt) Kallal.
He married Esther M. (St. Peters) in Shipman at St. Dennis Catholic Church, on September 19, 1964. She survives.
Bobby was employed at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis for 33 years as a S.M.A.R. retiring in 1998. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, NRA and NWTF. He enjoyed working on boats, fishing, hunting, especially deer, which he processed himself, camping, build and fly model air plains and spend time with his family and friends.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian Kallal of Grafton and Ed & Carrie Kallal of Jerseyville; five grandchildren, Billy Kallal, Shay Kallal, Sean Kallal, Jordan Kallal and Skyler Kallal; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Aloys & Ruthann Kallal of Hardin, Gary & Janet Kallal of Jerseyville, Delbert & Becky Kallal of Jerseyville and Pat & Patti Kallal of Valparaiso, IN; one sister and brother-in-law, Roberta & Danny Fuller of Jerseyville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on, Monday, January 25, 2010 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 am on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, with Fr. William Hembrow, officiating.
Interment will follow at Neuburn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Francis and Holy Ghost School's.
