Marie Irene Graziana, 92, passed away at 5:58 am Saturday January 23, 2010 at Bethalto Care Center.
She was born on April 22, 1917 in Talmage, Nebraska, the daughter of John & Anna (Glassmeyer) Neemann.
She married Frank Graziana on November 26, 1938 in St. Louis, MO and he preceded her in death on August 13, 1992.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Alton where she helped with the Women's League.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna Ralph of Alton and Barbara & Lonnie Guthrie of Rantoul, IL; six grandchildren and spouses, Terri & Mark McNealy of Bethalto, Lori Ralph of Ferguson, MO, Aaron & Shannon Ralph of Bunker Hill, Marcy Ralph of Cottage Hills, Martha Rice of Rantoul, Jamie & Tom Sibley of Virginia, and fourteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Salina Tuggle; two sisters, Christine Nahkunst and Emma Grundman, four brothers, Ben, Herman, Fritz and Herbert Newman.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Sunday January 24, 2010 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday January 25, 2010 with Rev. Randy Fischer officiating.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church in Alton.
