Lucille M. Robinette, 78, passed away at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 12, 1931 in East Alton, she was the daughter of Louis Wesley and Bealah (Sherman) Williams. She married George W. Robinette Oct. 4, 1947 in Alton. He passed away March 14, 2005.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Karen Robinette of Behalto and Gary and Wanda Robinette of Herrin, Ill.; three grandsons and their wives, Nathan and Elizabeth Robinette, Michael and Danielle Robinette, and Aaron and Kera Robinette; and a great grandson, Gage Michael Robinette.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where Rev. Richard Newcom will officiate at services at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Memorials may be given to Whitelaw Avenue Baptist Church.
