Mary Myrtle Brayman, 85, died Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Christian Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born October 3, 1924 in Greenville, MO, she was the daughter of Paul and Myrtle (Wilson) Saunders.
She was a member of Vaughn Hill Church of Christ and retired from Joe Stork Cleaners. She married Jay Brayman. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters; Dianna Mansholt and her husband David of Bunker Hill, and Ava Dutton and her husband Scott of Rockport, TX, a son, Jim Smith and his wife Nancy of Alton, a son-in-law, Dick Neider of Littleton, CO, ten grandchildren; Brad Saylor, Yvonne Greene, Annie Dutton, Aaron Brayman, Teddie Dees, Allison Mansholt, Cassie Neider, Allen Mansholt, Rachel Bull and Rebecca Mansholt, five great grandchildren, and a brother, Paul Saunders of Doniphan, MO. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Neider, and two brothers; Bill Inman and Bob Saunders.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Scott Dutton will officiate. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to the Dorsey Volunteer Fire Department.
