Billy Hayes, age 50, passed away at 5:30 pm, Sunday, November 22, 2009 at his residence with his family by his side.
He was born in St. Louis, MO. on May 6, 1959, to Willie E. and Carol (Zieren) Hayes.
He worked as an over the road Truck Driver for over 11 yrs. He has been a long time resident of the Alton Area.
He is survived by his mother; Carol, two sisters and their spouses; Lisa and Jimmy Keene of E. Alton, Il. and Brenda and Steve Gibbs of Wood River, Il. two brothers; Mark Hayes and his fiancée Sherry Hall of wood River, IL. and Dennis Hayes of Wood River, IL. his maternal grandmother; Jane Oliveri of Wood River, IL. and two nephews; Nicholas and Tony Hayes of Wood River, IL. and a niece; Nicole Gibbs of Wood River, IL.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral Service will be at 2 pm, Wednesday, November 25, 2009 with the Rev. Father James Flach officiating
Per Billy's wishes cremation rites will follow.
