Katherine (Florris) Cole, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, born February 1934 and sadly passing on November 8, 2009, taking with her the memory of a beloved family.
In the wake of her death, her message of love and goodness is carried on by her children, Chuck Ivester, Chris Smith (Debbie Maloney), Toni Gallant (Berard Gallant), Kathy Dougherty and the late Carla Gernigin (Mark Gernigin). Along with that she has passed her life of love into the hearts of her grandchildren Christy Fansher (Jim Fansher) Sam Gallant (Pam Gallant), Tricia Cole, Ben Dougherty, Chuck Gallant, Jesse Gernigin, Whitney Gernigin, Jared Gernigin and her great grandchild Cayla Fansher. She will also be sorely missed by her dearest and truest friend Willa Jenkins. Along with that, her love will continue on in the hearts of many.
Now she has gone to join her daughter, family and old friends. She will live on in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where Rev. Dennis Mooney will officiate services at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12.
Interment will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.
