Loretta G. Kelly, age 66, passed away at 9:03 am, Thursday October 15, 2009, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born in Alton, IL on August 25, 1943, the daughter of Paul and Helena (Pinkowski) Lara.
Loretta married Gary D. Kelly, on April 25, 1967 in Alton, IL. He survives.
She was employed at Maintenance Unlimited at Premcor Refinery. She enjoyed the Ladies Golf League, exercising, walking at the Mall, feeding her birds, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, two sons; Jeffrey and his spouse Terri Morey of Bethalto, IL. Robert L. "Kelly" Morey of Kearney, MO. one grandson; Christopher and his spouse Tonya Morey of Glenville, GA four sisters; Mercedes Reynolds, of Alton, Il. Theresa Borders, of E. Alton, IL. Marlena Griffin of Alton, IL. and Cecelia and her spouse Larry Kenshalo of Alton, IL. three brothers; Armondo Lara, of Alton, IL. Edward and his spouse Janice Lara of Alton, IL. John and his spouse Debbie Lara of St. Peters, MO.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, a daughter; Denise L. Kelly one sister; Della Sanders Smith and two brothers; Richard & Tito Lara.
Memorial Visitation will be from 11 to 1 pm, on, Thursday October 22, 2009 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL. where the memorial service will be at 1 pm. Inurnment will follow at Rose Lawn Memoral Gardens, in Bethalto, Il.
