Marie A. Friend, 90, passed away at 7:46 a.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009 at St. Anthony's Hospital.
Born Sept. 17, 1919 in New York, N.Y., she was the daughter of Walter L. and Hilda C. (Lebhar) Frank, now deceased.
She married Michael S. Friend Oct. 18, 1945 in London, England. He also preceded her in death March 24, 2002.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and J. Thomas Wyatt of Brighton; 2 grandchildren, Sarah Kirkpatrick of Moro and Michael Kirkpatrick of Godfrey; and a great granddaughter, Grace Kirkpatrick.
Services will be private, and interment will be at Woodland Hill Cemetery in East Alton.
Memorials may be given for masses.
