Marietta P. Ramsey, 83, passed away Sunday September 27, 2009 at Alton Memorial Hospital, Alton, Il.
She was born in Pleasant Hill, Il. on January 28, 1926, the daughter of Elliott and Alta (Waggoner) Pearson.
She married Homer Ramsey and he preceded her in death on December 28, 1996.
She is survived by two son's and daughter-in-law's, Mike and Jeanne Ramsey of Jerseyville, Il. and Mark and Sandra Ramsey of Alton, Il.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceeded in death by a brother John Pearson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, September 29, 2009 at the Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 1, 2009 . Jack Hembree officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose lawn Memory Gardens, Bethalto, Il. .
