Dr. Moustafa "Mo" Naguib, 69, passed away at 7:05 am, Tuesday September 15, 2009 at St. Anthony's Health Center.
He was born on December 5, 1939 in Cairo, Egypt the son of Souour and Yousrya
(El Sergany) Naguib.
He married the former Linda George on March 30, 1971 in St. Louis, MO. she survives.
Dr. Naguib was a practicing Physician in the Alton area, specializing in Urology Medicine from 1971 till his retirement in 2007. He loved being a Doctor and showed it through the care he gave to his patience. He enjoyed being associated with St. Anthony's Health Center in Alton where he was on staff. Mo enjoyed being with family and friends, playing Tennis, Bike riding and a good game of cards.
He is survived by his wife, one son and his spouse; John and Anita Johnson of Malden, MO. one granddaughter; Sydney Johnson, one grandson; John Adam Johnson, one sister; Nadia Naguib of Cairo, Egypt, and many nieces and nephews including Hassan Shoukry of St.Louis, MO.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters; Ida Naguib, and Effat Naguib.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Elias Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey. Where funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, September 18, 2009 with the Deacon Bill Kessler officiating.
Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey, IL
Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice.
