Gary L. Cooper Died August 19, 2009 after a long illness. He was Born August 27, 1940 in Ft. Worth , Texas. Survived by his Wife of 47 years, George Ann; a Son, Brooks Cooper, Daughter, Sydney Lindeman and grandchildren, Payton and Kyle Lindeman. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 1966. Gary was a avid Sooner Fan. Gary, LTC, USAR retired from the 8th JAG Detachment after 28 years of service. He was employed by the Veteran’s Administration for 34 years.
Gary was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was a friend to many and will be missed. The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday September 6 at the Auditorium at New Piasa Chautauqua, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Piasa Chautauqua Church or to the Chautauqua LCIA. Donations may be sent to NPC, PO Box 69, Elsah, Illinois, 62028
