Linda M. (Macias) Seago, 56, passed away at St. Louis University Hospital at 5:25 pm Tuesday August 18, 2009 with her family by her side.

She was born on November 5, 1952 in Alton, the daughter of Cecil M. & Pat (Carmona) Macias.

She married Jim Seago on July 13, 1971 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Alton. He survives.

Linda managed golden chain at the Alton Square until 1998.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mindy Seago of Wood River, one son and daughter-in-law, James D. & Shelly Seago of Godfrey, four grandchildren whom she adored, Andrew & Ally Howell, and Emma & Cecil Seago, all of Godfrey, two brothers and sister-in-law, Frank & Bridget Macias of Alton and Cecil & Diana Macias Jr. of Alton, one sister and brother-in-law, Patty & Kevin Bergfeld of Alton, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a nephew, Neal Yenne.

In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday August 20, 2009 Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton where a prayer service will be held at ________

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday June 20, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Alton.

Memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation.
