Candace "Candy" Ehlers

Candace "Candy" Sue Ehlers, age 54 died at 7:45 am on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at St. Louis University Hospital.

She was born on October 14, 1954 in White Hall ,IL the daughter of the late DaLoris Jean (Israel) Fletcher and William H. and Loretta Fletcher. For the past 11 years she has been a Banking Services Consultant III at The Bank of Edwardsville in Alton.
Candy always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and was a member of the Main St. United Methodist Church in Alton. She is survived by her father and step-mother, one daughter; Lindsey Garrett and her husband Larry of Belleville, two sons; Todd Kauffold and Shannon of Belleville and Jordan Ehlers of Godfrey, five grandchildren; Mariah, Landon and Aydon Kauffold, Savannah Harris and Kelsey Garrett, one brother; Jeff Fletcher and his wife Kelli of East Alton, one sister; Julia Johnson and her husband Gary of Moro, two step-brothers; Andrew Price and his wife Marie of Highland and Robert Price and his wife Joyce of Alton and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Monday at Gent Funeral Home where services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday with the Rev. Jame Hahs officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to The Bank of Edwardsville in the name of Candice Ehlers for her son Jordan.
