Christopher L. Slone, 27, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at home.
Born in Amarillo, Tex. July 25, 1972, he was the son of Randy L. Slone of Wood River and Elisabeth McDaniel of Hoxie, Kan.
He married Patricia McDaniels Aug. 2, 2003. She survives.
In addition to his parents and Patricia, he is survived by a daughter, Destiny Slone; his grandmother Dottie Baze-Harrison of Wood River; his grandfather, Lee McDaniels of Hoxie; a half brother, Clayton Rall; many aunts, uncles and cousins; a special uncle, Lee Lewis of Wood River; and his mother-in-law, Val Lewis of Cottage Hills, with whom he resided and loved very much. Chris was loved by many and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary McDaniels.
Visitation will be Thursday at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Larry Lacher will officiate.
Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to Destiny Slone Memorial Fund.
