Richard Wayne Dunlap has gone home to God.
He was born in Granite City, Illinois on April 29, 1947 and taken home on June 26, 2009.
He served proudly in the United States Navy in VietNam from, 1964-1967.
He was someone's husband, father, son-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Leo Dunlap, his step-father, Gerald Robert Borger, and his first wife of 28 years, Sandra Kay Hansell.
He leaves behind a Mother, Georgia Lee Kittrell, of Holly Hills, Florida, a mother-in-law, Esther Lee Miller, of Alton, Illinois a wife, Shana' N. Dunlap, of Alton, Illinois, a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Jean and Larry Bryan Pickett of Alton, Illinois, a son, Michael Anthony Norise, of Godfrey, and five grandsons, Sean Walker, Scott Pickett, Jerry Walker, Lance Walker, and Jeffrey Pickett, all of Alton, Illinois.
All donations and proceeds are to be given to Shana' Dunlap, Esther Miller, or Stephanie Pickett.

Visitation will be Monday 4 pm to 8 pm June 29, 2009 at Elias Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral services will be Tuesday June 30, 2009 at 10 am at the funeral home with Rev Gregory Harrison officiating.
Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks Memorial Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
