Helen Wicker, 70, passed away at 6:45 pm Friday March 20, 2009 at Eldercare of Alton with her family by her side.
She was born on February 1, 1939 in Okene, Arkansas, the daughter of Alpha Woodard & Martha Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Morgon on April 15, 2008.
She is also survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, James & Nancy Goodson of Bunker Hill, and Paul Goodson of Arkansas, two daughters, Teresa Anthony of Horseshoe Bend, AR and Denice Gronthan of Waco, TX and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Giles of Florida.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4 pm until time of funeral services at 7 p.m. Tuesday March 24, 2009 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.
Cremation rites will follow.
Memorials may be made to Eldercare of Alton activity fund.
