Barbara (Wyatt) Blackburn 66, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at 4:00 pm in Schertz, Texas.
She was born on October 31, 1942 in Granite City, Illinois to Lawrence Wyatt Sr. and Erma (Romine) Buscemi.
Barbara married Raymond Blackburn on August 29, 1950 in Granite City, Illinois. He survives.
Barbara was a Retired Insurance Agent and loved to fish, golf, travel and sight see.
She is survived by her husband, step-father; Joseph Buscemi Sr., two daughters Constance Robinson of Shiloh, IL, Stephanie & John Bock of Selma, TX., two brothers Joseph & his wife Dawn Buscemi Jr. of Ben Salem, PA, Larry Wyatt Jr. of Houston, TX, and a sister Tina Wyatt of Granite City. Grandchildren Melissa Johnson of Clovis, NM, Matthew Robinson of Surprise, AZ, Keith Bock of Converse, TX, Great-Grandchildren Sammy Bock of Converse, TX, Cierrah and Jayda Johnson of Clovis, NM.
Her mother and one sister Lura Lee Culver precede her in death.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral services will be Friday, January 09, 2009 at 10 am at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry MeCaskey officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, Illinois.
