Roy E. Conlee, 57, of Benld, IL, died at his residence on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 6:30 pm. He was born December 11, 1965, in Carlinville, IL to Roy Eugene Conlee & Darlene Price Conlee. He was a truck driver. Roy enjoyed farm animals and auctions. He loved his truck, "midnight rider." He is survived by his fiancée, Jean Free of Benld, IL, children, Darlene Conlee of Mount Olive, IL, Roy E. (Kimberly) Conlee Jr. of Virden, IL, 11 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, sibling, Charles E. (Melissa) Conlee of Caulfield, MO, Timothy Conlee of Mulberry Grove, IL, many nieces and nephews. Roy was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral services are Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Burial will be at Benld Cemetery, Benld, IL.
