Betty Sauerwein

Betty J. Sauerwein, 78, of Plainview, IL, died at Heritage Health of Gillespie, IL on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 8:33 am.  She was born October 17, 1944, in Alton, IL to J.W. Gregory & Velda Manahan Gregory.  She married James Sauerwein.  She was a CNA for Heritage Health in Carlinville, IL.  She is survived by her son, Jason (Miranda) Sauerwein of Gillespie, IL, grandchildren, Paige, Justis "Bear", Kleesey, siblings, Bernard "B.J." (Darleen) Gregory of Gillespie, IL, Joan Page of Gillespie, IL, Kathy Robinson of Shipman, IL, Deborah (Randy) Hagen of Carrollton, IL, Richard Gregory of Gillespie, IL.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, siblings, Glenard "Red" Gregory, Jeanette Brunaugh.  Friends may call on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie at 7:00 pm.  Memorials are suggested to Adopt-A-Pet, PO Box 53, Benld, IL, 62009.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.  Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
