Michele Jarnagin

Michele R. Jarnagin, 53 of Granite City, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.

Michele was born on May 22, 1968, in Alton, Illinois. Michele had worked at Gateway Regional Medical Center as an administrative assistant and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City. In her free time, Michele enjoyed her days of crafting and spending time with her family, especially her niece Belle Jarnagin and she will be remembered for all the special times they shared together.

Michele is survived by and will be missed by her husband; Ted Lohr; mom, Martha (McElroy) Jarnagin of Granite City; daughter, Alexander Lohr of Granite City; brother, Michael R. Jarnagin and Peggy Kleinschmidt of Troy, IL; her loved grand-dog, Czar and numerous other close family members and friends.

Michele was preceded in death by her dad; Frank Greathouse; daughters, Alicia M. Lohr, Megan L. Lohr, and her son, Zachary T. Jarnagin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City. In celebration of Michele’s life, funeral services will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2606 Washington Ave. in Granite City with Fr. Stephen Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Granite City A.P.A.
