Dana Marie Warnecke, 48, of South Roxana passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at her home. 

She was born July 6, 1973, in Granite City.  She worked at the Alton Belle for 20 years.  Dana enjoyed crafts and gardening.  She was very interested in the paranormal; she would travel with friends to different well-known haunted locations.  She had a love for pigs, especially her pig Basil and collecting anything pig-related.

She is survived by a son, Zachary Warnecke (Kari Shipley) of South Roxana; two daughters, Hannah (Caleb) Fuller of Kirbyville, MO and Emily Warnecke (Riley Horman) of Alton; mother, Rebecca (nee: Okai) Minor of Wood River; maternal grandmother, Amelia Okai of Highland; grandchildren, Mason Custer and Olivia Warnecke; sister, Michelle Warnecke of San Diego, CA and boyfriend Michael Crowley of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Warnecke; paternal grandparents, and a maternal grandfather.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 pm. Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City.  Online guestbook will be available at www.wojstrom.com.  Memorials can be made to the family.
