Donald D. Tieman, 83, of Gillespie, IL, died at Heritage Health of Gillespie, IL on Monday, December 27, 2021, at 12:15 am.
He was born February 14, 1938, in Carlinville, IL to Chester Tieman & Irene Lueking Tieman. He married Alice Wilson Tieman on July 20, 1988, in Camdenton, MO. He was an adjuster after having worked 10 years for McDonnell Douglas and 33 years for Olin Corp. Donald was a member of the Machinist Union Local 660. He enjoyed Westerns with John Wayne and Hee Haw.
He is survived by his spouse, Alice Tieman of Gillespie, IL, children, Ronald (Ann) Tieman of Lincoln, IL, James (Denise Massey) Tieman of Gillespie, IL, David Tieman of Bethalto, IL, Shannon (Gwen) Tieman of Gillespie, IL, grandchildren, Wendy Cox, Ryan Cox, Jessica Tieman, Bailey Tieman, Emily (Josh) Martin, Jami (Broc) Pachesa, Ally (Steven) Manus, Holly Tieman, siblings, Dale (Shirley) Tieman of Carlinville, IL and Wilma Townsend of Oregon.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, JoAnn Cox, brothers, Edward Tieman, Lloyd Tieman, and Herbert "Bud" Tieman.
