Mildred M. Becker, age 92 of Marine, IL, died Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Cedarhurst of Highland in Highland, IL.
She was born on Saturday, March 02, 1929, in St. Jacob, IL, the daughter of Edward and Anna (nee Ottwein) Reker.
On Saturday, April 14, 1951, she married Clifford Becker at the E & R Church, Marine, Illinois, who passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ of Marine; 50+ yr. member of Order of Eastern Star Unity Chapter #403, Marine, IL; Past Matron Club 1975; Madison County Farm Bureau.
Mildred was born in St. Jacob, IL, and grew up on the family farm. She attended Hunter School. She cleaned homes for people and lived in Marine. After marriage, she moved to the Becker Family Farm, where she helped with grain and livestock. She enjoyed helping her husband with Shriners club duties; preforming 4-H activities with the grandchildren; and embroidering and painting ceramics. She also liked helping her daughter in Job's Daughters, where Karen was the Honor Queen. She liked her large garden and canning items from the garden. Mildred loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Becker, Saint Louis, MO; Grandchildren - Amanda J. (Jeffrey) Wolf, Manchester, MO; Angela D. (Kassidy) Kueper, Highland, IL; Brian D. (Audrey) Becker, Troy, IL; Mark T. (Nichole) Becker, Marine, IL; Great Grandchildren - Brock B. Becker; Wyatt M. Becker; Kendall N. Becker; Jacob A. Wolf; Avery M. Wolf; Hailey J. Wolf; Keegan N. Kueper; Stella M. Kueper.
She was preceded in death by: Father - Edward H. Reker - Died 1/31/1972; Mother - Anna K. (nee Ottwein) Reker - Died 12/24/1979; Husband - Clifford Becker - Died 7/15/2012; Grandchild - Lance C. Becker - Died 6/22/1988; Siblings - Idell E. Falconnier - Died 11/14/2016; Harold L. Reker - Died 3/28/2013; Edwin E. Reker - Died 1/07/2015; Frieda Walters - Died 10/22/1997.
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 02, 2021, at the United Church of Christ of Marine in Marine, IL.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 02, 2021, at United Church of Christ of Marine in Marine, IL, with Rev. Philip H. Kershner, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will be at Marine Cemetery in Marine, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Church of Christ of Marine or Shriners Hospital for Children.
